Cold!!

Ok... Cold does not even start to describe how it is. We woke up this morning to 10 degrees. Ellis loves it for the most part. He has gone to his cousins twice already this last week to sled. But now he has a chest cough which is concerning a little. He doesn't quite understand why we are being so "protective" of him now. I just don't want to see it turn into something worse. He told me as long as he takes medicine he will be fine. Pete took us to Fred Meyers last night. Holy Cow! I have never seen so many cars in my life. Where did all these people come from? I am unsure of what this week is going to bring us, so I wanted to stock up on food and of course Rice Nog, which is the boy's favorite drink right now. Emma is not getting out much so she seems to be really on the fiesty side. We try to take her out but really we can only last about 5 minutes. The wind hurts when it hits your face. Pete has done a terrific job driving in the snow. The Jeep handles quite well, it is the other drivers I worry about. I on the otherhand have a strict policy for myself when there is snow on the ground - WALK!

Bouncy Balls!

Catchy Title..I know!! Just thought I would post a few pics of one of the most popular activites to do at Gramps and Nanna's house. Ellis loves to do this with his Grandaparents. It keeps him and the Grandparents busy!!

5 years old!

Ellis has turned 5! It truly is going by way to fast. He seems to be growing so much in the last few months. We changed schools and it has been amazing for him. He has been learning so much. The transition was a little hard on him but he has made many friends. It just makes me smile so much when I drop him off and the kids are so excited to see him. He seems to have charmed the girls somewhat. There is one little girl named Kylie. One morning when we arrived, she was standing there with her doll and yells out " Ellis...I am still going to marry you"! Ellis just kind of smiled and walked past her. He was a tad bit embarrassed but it was so darn cute. His other friend, John has told him that "girls are dumb" so we are going to have to figure that one out. When I asked Ellis if he thought that was true..he said yes except for Mommy and Kylie. So at least I got that going for me!
